Why is it so hard to get into? I have put in user ID and password and then it asks for mobile number. When I enter mine or my husbands it says it is attached to another id. But it is not? What's the problem? Why do you make it so hard to acess??

How do I change from the installed messaging app to another app. the messaging app that came with the phone, does not do group texts right, and it does not have a desktop app for my laptop. I want all my texts to come into something like telegraph, on both my phone and my computer.

how to get notified of texts?
I have the Galaxy S6 Active and can't figure out how to make it notify me more than one time that I have a text msg. The light stays on till I clear it, but no more than one little "chime" sound. I am a on call RN for Hospice and often my family's just have a question. Not wanting to bother me, they would rather text. Sometimes my phone is in another room so I don't hear it chime and it may be an hour or so till I actually "look"@ my phone to see I've missed a msg. I really hate making them wait that long. Can you assist?

How to get my phone to notify me of texts
I have a Galaxy S6 active. It only "chimes" once to notify me of incoming texts. The light also appears. I need it it continue "chiming" about every 3-4 min in case I'm in another room and don't hear it originally. I am an on call RN for a Hospice and often the families prefer to text a question, as not to bother me by calling. When I don't hear my phone chime, it may be an hour or two before I even know they have tried to reach me. I really need a fix. Iam NOT tech savy in the least, please make it simple. Thank you

VPN traffic appears to be blocked on Mobile Hotspot and USB Tethering connections
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 & am unable to use my company's VPN via either Mobile Hotspot or USB Tethering. The VPN connection works fine over my laptop's wi-fi connection from everywhere that I've ever tried it. I can establish the VPN connection when using my phone, but it doesn't work. Once connected, the VPN connection settings on my laptop are identical to those as when I connect via wi-fi. I can ping the address assigned to my laptop's wireless or USB connection to the phone, but I can't ping the associated gateway on the AT&T network assigned to that particular Mobile Hotspot or USB Tethering connection. I am using Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07.0440 (this version is required by my company). It appears that the AT&T 3G/4G network is blocking all VPN traffic (or certain TCP/UDP ports) once connected (based on the ping results). Note that Mobile Hotspot or USB Tethering works fine for general internet (web browser) access but not VPN access, which leads me to believe that ports are being blocked. Can you shed any light on this issue & advise me as to the steps necessary to make this work? Thank you.

Turning OFF LTE in iPhone settings improves linking to Microcell
I'm not sure if this is well known, but I've discovered that turning OFF LTE in my iPhones settings improves linking to my Microcell.
SITUATION: After working well for years I suddenly started having trouble with my iPhones not linking to my Microcell. The AT&T Microcell help desk was unable to resolve the problem. I eventually discovered that turning off LTE on my iPhones enabled them to quickly link to my Microcell once again.
I suspect that my problems were caused when AT&T turned on LTE at a tower near me. The LTE signal is to weak to be usable but it was confusing my iPhones which continually tried to link to it instead of my Mircocell. When I turn OFF LTE in Setting on the iPhones they quickly link to my Microcell. It's a hassle to remember to turn on LTE when I leave the house, but for now it's my best option, given the weak AT&T wireless signal where I live.

Hi. I got some pretty disturbing spam message this morning. I already texted 7726 for att help. But after I forward the spam and send their number it tells me to text the spamming number "STOP" even though the section about it here says not to text the original number at all. What do I do!!

My phone says no service at times.
I'm inside my Grandmother's house and when I go to certain areas my phone says no service. My mother has the same phone that I have and we both have AT&T. She will be getting service in the areas that I'm not. Can you please help as to what can be causing this?

galaxy 6 update
I have just purchased a galaxy 6 active that I like very much. The new software update 5.1.1 has taken away the option of adding text to a picture attachment when replying to a text. This is used by out family regularly. Is there any way to not use the latest update.

I would like to be able to check my messages online, but usually when I need to use this feature is when my phone isn't handy. This is almost impossible to do when it asks for a pin each time I log on. Is there a way to read my text messages online when I don't have my phone?

LTE on overseas hotspot - need LTE capable IMEI?

I've brought a Netgear Aircard 790 to the USA from Australia and put an At&t gophone SIM in it with a data only plan.
When activating, the device's IMEI wasn't recognised. After reading several forum posts about similar problems, it seems that this is the reason the device will not connect to LTE as At&t don't recognise it as an LTE device in their database. (it has the correct bands for both At&t HSPA and LTE and is unlocked, it's working fine on 3G/HSDPA with the 'broadband' APN)
Is it still the case that the only way to have it allowed onto LTE will be to find an IMEI from a LTE capable tablet or data card/hotspot that is known to AT&T and have them set that IMEI for my SIM? Or is there another workaround?
Most of the forum posts are from over a year ago so I was wondering if there is another way now.

ATT Group Messaging not working with & iMessage
Been having a problem getting group messages on ATT (just switched to ATT from Verizon, where my Lumia 928 had no problems with kids and wife on iPhones). Looks like the problem is that if they have their iphones set to have imessage on, then the only non iphone people who will get their groups texts will be other on the same network. Everyone else will get texts but not group texts. If they turn off their imessage then I get their group texts, but they don't get their friends texts on their mac computers, where they do most of their messaging.
So, could someone please help confirm that this is actually true - we did test it, but still, maybe it's something else, and if it is true, are there any workarounds that will allow me to get their groups texts when their imessaage is turned on?
this is really a problem for me and how we communicate. Could really use the help. thank you.

Mobile Email not working
Whenever I try to use the Mobile Email feature on my GoPhone, I get the error mesage "Communication error (20). Try again." It's been doing this for months. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?

SmartFilter Question
Can SmartFilter actually read the CONTENTS of a text? I know that it can basically block any time range or contact, see the time sent and time received, etc. . .But can it actually read what you send to people?
